The XMidi 1x1 needs absolutely no software drivers to work, and is USB powered as well. The XMidi 1x1 is automatically detected in Linux under JACK Audio and ALSA, and can be seen by other applications as well. The quality is good, and the interface has built in LED lights as visual indicators that allow you to monitor power, Midi In and Midi Out. Very easy to use: Just plug it in and your ready to go!
