I'm so glad my car GPS sucks and accidentally led me to this place, and I'm counting my lucky stars that we were able to score a dinner reservation. 800g steak to share, cauliflower and chips. I've never been so content with a shared main. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the cauliflower would make kids fall in love with vegetables and the thrice cooked chips were crispy and fresh. Garmin Topo Germany Crack. I was so happy. I had intended on not having dessert however the chocolate option seemed too good to pass up.
And I'm so glad I ordered it. Choc fig brownie topped with chocolate mousse, white chocolate mousse, cherry gelato and the most delicious white chocolate genache I've ever had. The wine selection and sommelier were great. The staff were an absolute delight. The decor and ambience are fantastic and the view of the mountains at sunset are extremely romantic. I'll definitely be back here!
Thanks for an awesome night. Sunday lunch was well worth the visit to the Hunter Valley. We had a shared meal which consisted of a perfectly cooked Black Angus 800g t-bone with a selection of sides and sauces. My partner finished off with a very tasty desert and coffee.
We were more than happy with the quality of the food and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. An excellent selection of wine and beverages is also available. We would have no hesitation in returning in the near future to sample more of there interesting menu. The menu does change with seasons but some popular meals are kept for the regular customers. We had been dying to have dinner at Villa du Pays since we went to Leogate two years ago and saw the meats hanging in the restaurant.
It was so worth the wait and met our expectations. From the wine to the atmosphere to the best cooked steak ever! We only did the 800g steak to share but it was more than enough, the cauliflower is to die for and the chips are a must!! We squeezed in the chocolate dessert but probably could have done without as we were just being piggies. The service was excellent by John, the girls stood around a a lot and we had to fill up our own wine but other than that it was excellent.
Lunch would be just as good as dinner!
