Cara Install Windows Xp Di Hp Pavilion Dm1
Options Market Making Baird Pdf Free Download Programs. Good Evening! I recently purchased an HP Pavilion G6 that came loaded with Windows 8. I am not pleased with the operating system and desire to change the operating system to Windows 7.
I purchased a copy of Windows 7 and I put the disc in the cd-rom drive to try to boot from it and I continue to receive this message: 'selected boot image did not authenticate.' I have tried other copies of Windows and receive the same error message. Can you please help me with this issue? I have not installed anything on the computer. It is straight from the factory. Thank you so much for your help.

Very Respectfully, Bill. Hi: I am surprised that HP has links to any other version but W8 on your notebook's support and driver page. However, If you look closely, the only full driver support list is for W8. Also, there are no product specs for the notebook listed, so I don't know if it has switchable graphics or not. You'll have to let me know what it has graphics-wise.
Even W7 is missing the essential drivers needed. You won't even get past the 'Setup is starting Windows' screen at the beginning of the install. And I don't know how to get the AMD AHCI drivers installed on HP notebooks of recent vintage.
I can give you the link to the drivers but no one is able to get them to work after they slipstream them. If your notebook had Intel hardware and a plain Intel HD integrated video, you may have had a chance. I don't believe there are any XP drivers for the video. Audio takes a magician to get it to work in XP.
After you get W7 installed, please post the hardware ID's for the drivers you need. If you don't know how to find a hardware ID, please read the info at the link below. I found the drivers I need.
I had no idea that I would be getting into such a mess by simply trying to install a previous version of Windows. I'm shaking my head for sure. The computer didn't come with a Windows 8 install disc so I don't know if there's any turning back from here. Thanks for taking the time to help out.
